Is AutoDex free to use?
Yes. You can add a vehicle, keep a logbook, and try diagnostics on the free plan. Pro adds unlimited AI diagnostics, included history reports, and Advanced Insights.
How does receipt scanning work?
From Logbook, use the scan or upload icons. AutoDex reads the photo and fills in category, date, mileage, cost, and shop so you only confirm the details.
What is a vehicle history report?
Pro includes premium history reports that consolidate safety, service, inspection, ownership, and warranty records — the same report you can export and keep with the car.
Can AI really diagnose sounds and warning lights?
Diagnostics lets you describe symptoms, pick warning lights, record sounds, or photograph tire tread. Guidance is based on your vehicle and is not a substitute for a licensed mechanic.
Is my data secure?
Records stay in your AutoDex account. You can export a logging summary or vehicle report, and you can delete your data. We do not sell your vehicle history.
Can I export my records?
Yes. From Logbook, export a PDF summary, CSV spreadsheet, or ZIP archive with vault files and receipt photos. Generate it once and share it with a shop, a buyer, or yourself.
